GAS BOOSTER - PG03
PURPOSE
This device is intended to pump the gases such as air, oxygen, helium, argon.
CONSTRUCTION
The device consists of two basic assemblies: a drive unit and a plunger pump, joined together by 4 screws and a connecting sleeve. The drive unit is powered by compressed air with a pressure of 10 bar. Due to the fact that the shunting machine does not require lubrication, the air must meet the cleanliness requirements specified by the manufacturer of pneumatic equipment: maximum particle size 10μm. The shunting part of the device is powered by the gas that is currently being shunted The pressure of this gas must be a minimum of 10 bar. ( It must correspond to the pressure required for an empty cylinder and must cause the plunger to move while sucking in the gas). The head of the pumping machine is equipped with two check valves with 5/8 “UNF threads, which allow to connect the hoses to the source and filling cylinders. The booster cylinder is cooled by the air that is needed to drive the plunger. We designed a special cylinder cooler for this purpose. Thanks to the cooler, the booster can work continuously because the cylinder is still cooled. The kit requires an air pressure regulator with a hose to drive the unit allowing it to be supplied with 200bar of air.
The pressure regulator as well as the hose and hose clamps are not included in the kit and are an additional charge.
TECHNICAL DATA
Overall dimensions:
Length 660 mm, width 160 mm, height 160 mm
Plunger diameter 20 mm, plunger stroke 100 mm Compression ratio 1 : 10
Pumped volume per 1 stroke 31.4 cm3 – 0.0314 ln
Weight 14.00 kg
Air consumption per 1 stroke 7.8 ln (about 250ln/min) Average number of strokes per 1 minute – 30
Pumping rate is dependent on the type of gas, the pressure difference between the one in source and inflated cylinder and actual number of strokes per minute. This amount is variable and depends on the pressure in the cylinders.
MAINTENANCE
This booster does not need lubrication. After one year of use the device should be returned to the service for cleaning.
STANDARD EQUIPMENT
1. Booster PG-03.
2. Pressure reducer is not included as standard
3. As standard, the booster is packed in a cardboard box
